I was a fan of Starbucks' new Wifi strategy until I started explaining it to my brother-in-law and heard how ridiculously complicated it sounded coming out of my mouth. ("You need a card, and you have to register it online and link it to AT&T. Then you need to keep a minimum balance of $5 on it and use it once every 30 days. Okay. When you get into the store you get an authorization screen... ") Because, of course, it IS too complicated. Free, by which I mean really free and simple to use, is better. - Bill Barol
