If all I need is love, why do I need this product? - John (bird whisperer)
I'm with Joe here. Same category as Van Gogh and a few other masters of their respective arts. I appreciate the hell out of their contributions to the collective canon. I recognize that without them other work that's more to my liking could not have happened. But there is on fact work that IS more to my liking. Take that as a personal failing of mine if it helps - it probably is, and also explains my problem with a lot of jazz that's at all sophisticated. (that, or the ADD ... I just get too bored with a lot of instrumentation that goes on too long.) here's hoping that as I get more experience editing instrumental pieces for video titles that my appreciation will go up. - Mary B: #TeamMonique from iPhone
I didn't know they wrote and sang "Eleanor Rigby" until I was in high school. I'd only heard the cover by Aretha Franklin. - Derrick

I like some Beatles songs. I don't like the relentless commercialization of those songs by advertising companies. I don't like admen, for that matter, though I do like Mad Men. Go figure... - Dennis Jernberg
