Champps Sports Bar on W 7th in St Paul is my go-to when I'm meeting folks near MSP - about a mile from the termonal on hiway 5/west 7th http://www.champpsstpaul.com/index...

If you have time for a littel exploring West 7th has some cool places to eat http://www.urbanspoon.com/n... JR Macs has great burgers and Day by Day is breakfast all day.

The Uptowner Cafe has a good breakfast. Punch Neapolitan Pizza is really good pizza. Don't let anyone steer you toward Mickey's Diner, though.

Pardon My French is good for a nice lunch or brunch. Great breads and pastries.

Also, look up Swede Hollow Cafe for breakfast or brunch. Ridiculous.

Swede Hollow is good but it's East 7th, quite a ways from airport, good for next time as is Mickeys Diner ;) It all depends on how much time you have before the flight and whcih highway you take to airport

I just did some google maps searching. Harvey is right, anything in Highland park is not that far away, sbout tn minuted. so, there is Punch, which is indeed awesome. Highland Grill is a modernish kind of diner, I go there a lot. Nothing fancy, but good.

broders is in a totally different directions, about fifteen minutes. There are two Broders, the pasta bar and the deli (Cucina Italia). They are across the street from each other. The pasta bar is fancier, both are good.

It's about 5 minutes past MSP--and it doesn't really work for 'departures'--but when I need to pickup someone up from the airport I always go to the IKEA cafeteria and wait there. They call me when they get into the gate and I can be there in 5 minutes once they get their luggage. Also, I'm CHEAP! #BeatsCirclingRoundtotheTerminalaDozenTimes
