I've seen CNC foam cutters before, and "I don't want styrofoam parts" (yes, except for Lego heads) is exactly what I was thinking. The link to the article on lost foam metal casting has me thinking twice, though. I admit that I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable handling molten aluminum, but the idea of being able to "print" cast aluminum parts (with a few manual steps) has me tempted to try. - Laurence Gonsalves
