Playing Ghostbusters on the DS. It's freaking hard to drive Ecto-1 around using the d-pad.
@ferventcoder Yeah, I grew up in Wichita, KS. ;)
@schwarzwald Sort of,maybe I should restate that. Chrome is the desktop manager.
@Palehorse Of course, now I'm just jealous that you have an Android. ;)
Friend from HS,who is another friends ex-wife, keeps posting boudoir pics on her Facebook acct. Hey, she looks good but should I be looking?
hmmm Seesmic for Blackberry sounds interesting.
@codinghorror And second because I'M BORED. Gotta field a 4-yr old and put her back in bed when she gets scared. THE SHADOWS, THE HORROR! ;)
@schwarzwald Yeah, when you see a video of it in action (or I guess build it and run it) it makes more sense.
@ijoyce Not quite. It's simpler than that. I just like the "create a test project" dialog in ASP.NET MVC and wanted one for ORMs. :)
@venzann the scary kind unfortunately.
@codinghorror Why would I work on your site for free?
@codinghorror Because you said nobody cares about CSS vs. tables. People who want fast loading, small pages MIGHT care. ;)
Seriously, at 4 yrs old kids imaginations REALLY kick into high gear. Those shadows in their bedroom? Contain MONSTERS! #fb
@schwarzwald Exactly, except Chrome *is* the OS. All the "apps" are standard web apps. Just Linux booting up to Chrome.
@ferventcoder Congrats! And I bet you know EXACTLY where every creaky floorboard in her room is don't you? ;)
Of course, she's in Kansas so it's not like the pictures are showing anything really.
Honestly, I just wanted a little help copying the ORM assemblies into the bin folder and referencing them when I create a new project. ;)
@bellware re: CSS books - I liked "The CSS Anthology" and "Everything you know about CSS is wrong!" both from Sitepoint. recipies + tips.
Amused that my simple email has turned into a debate of what the "M" in "MVC" means on an email list. ;)
@codinghorror If you could shave an extra 20K off of your page size by using a CSS layout would you?
The last update of the Silverlight Contrib/Extensions project was October 2008? Am I looking in the wrong place?
Just found a 1/2 box of unopened Score pro football cards from 1991 in my workshop. Along with a bin full os Star Wars toys and G.I. Joe
@bellware @haacked One other reason for using CSS over table layout. Performance. The browser can start rendering elements immediately.
@bellware @haacked However, I think that needs to be balanced with productivity. If it only saves each user 50ms and take 2 days to achieve
@troethom I think it depends on the layout and how much you want to deal with cross-browser issues.
@kevindente I just "shut down" and then click "Force shutdown".
@bellware @haacked Then forget it, just "git 'r laid out".
