I think I've had it with my 3g. Gonna take it back.

I'm still happy with my first gen. I'm generally always around wifi so have had little need for 3g. I love the 2.0 software which is really the main reason I love the iphone even more than I did before. I take photos with an SLR so don't care much about the camera. I don't even really use it as a phone much. It's all about the apps and wifi to me.

I think 2.1 will help fix a lot of bugs. At least 2.0.2 fixed the dropped calls issues for me.

When I'm out and about I'll have bars, and the little 3G logo, and as I try to surf, that little logo means nothing. I find myself turning it off and going back to EDGE over and over to gain access. Also the initial page load when I'm on 3g takes a really long time. Same with mail access, and Google maps.

I have a first gen iPhone and get dropped calls in Phoenix all the time. My brother and his wife have 3Gs (2.0.2) and they've worked flawlessly here in town. I guess much of this depends on exactly where you live and use the phones.

I know - that's what sucks. I LOVE my iPhone, but I got rid of the old one for the new BETTER one, and while it is in some respects (GPS rules!), just dealing with mediocre web connectivity is not good enough. "Twice as fast and half as much"... The "half as much" wasn't supposed to be in reference to the frequency of suitable connectivity.

Until they sync it's unusable for me - bummer, cause I love the interface. I've been using jott - which is largely great despite a few bugs - one being that I DON'T use the iPhone voice record function, I type - which I like better anyway.

Figured out a great way to remember songs on Pandora using Evernote: 1) When listening, perform a screenshot (Hold down home button and press power button). Save to Evernote in a notebook or just tag it with "music" or "album". You'll always know the name, artist, album & what the cover looks like.
or you could use the much simpler "bookmark" song or artist buttons. Why include Evernote?

They said that in direct sunlight, it take about 6 hours to charge the battery. I'm assuming that on a cloudy day, it would be closer to 10. What's awesome, is that it has a USB outlet and phone adapter in it, so you can be at a coffee shop or in the park and just juice up the battery. If you're phone is ever low, just plug it in... battery stays juiced for up to 10 days I think.

You had muscle spasms. Awful experience. Either too much stress or strenuous activity. LOL. I had them 10 years ago and could barely move my body and was prescribed Flexeril, a miracle muscle relaxer drug. Hoping you have a speedy recovery and enjoy the rest of your vacation in beautiful Maui! Obama will be vacationing in Hawaii in mid-August before the convention.

Nice, but the photos depict different "houses". If you look at the first photo, you'll see it's tiny, sort of a single-purpose shed. I guess you have to attache multiple such sheds to get the space shown in the other photos.

I saw the trailer when I went to see "The Happening". My friends fully expected me to be happy. I was disappointed Carter was even trying again. Seriously? It has been too long.
