Displaying a Custom Menu | drupal.org - http://drupal.org/node/112735
Go to admin/build/menu. Create the new menu by clicking "Add Menu". Remember the machine readable name you type in - you will need this to make it appear in step 6. Add your menu items. Open your page.tpl.php file and go to the spot where you want your menu to appear. Enter the following code replacing "machine-readable-name" with the one you entered in step 2 (the catch is that Drupal adds "menu-" in front of whatever you typed in, so you must leave "menu-" in front of your machine readable name). Then substitute your own id or classes. 'menu_id', 'class' => 'menu_class')); ?> - Laura Solomon

ReadWrite – Sorry Kids, Mom And Dad p0wn You On The Net [Infographic] - http://readwrite.com/2013...
Generation X, defined as those born between 1965-1983, also has a higher percentage of desktop computer owners and spends more time online. But their Millennial kids, born 1984-2002, have a higher percentage of Internet users, and dominate the mobile surfing habits. One reason why Millennials have the lower footprint online than their parents is clearly the lack of television the kids are watching on TV sets (110 hours to their folks' 145 hours). Much of their video consumption happens online, where Millenials watch nearly 23.5 hours of video a month, compared to the less than 15 hours GenXers watch online. - Laura Solomon

The New Skill Every Social Media Marketer Must Possess - http://www.convinceandconvert.com/social-...
Just two years ago, the formula for a great social media or community manager was excellent communication skills, comfort with technology, knowledge of the organization and empathy. 18 months ago, when social measurement and ROI calculation became (thankfully) a requirement for most social marketing programs, a heavy dose of comfort with statistics and Excel became a best practice in the community manager job description. Now, there’s a new requirement for many community or social managers, especially those who are running programs for mid-sized companies on a solo or nearly solo basis (and there are a LOT of those circumstances out there, far more than heavily staffed social media centers of excellence or command centers). Now, to be a “do it all” social media practitioner you must have some experience and expertise with photography and graphics production. - Laura Solomon
