Vim è un programma puramente testuale, potente ma con un approccio sostanzialmente diverso da Notepad++. Quanto a SublimeText2: eviterei di ricorrere a software non libero se esistono alternative open source - Opensource Obscure

per restare in linea con Notepad++ darei un'occhiata a Bluefish - o a Kate, anche se richiede un po' di KDE che magari non hai voglia di installarti - Opensource Obscure
