I had a sub to this for a year thanks to a free deal. Mostly, it helped me understand how I don't understand my fellow man very well at times *chuckle*

there's alot of behaviour and attitudes i see in other men, especially in how they relate to women (or fail to), that i find totally alien.

It's not just a guy thing. I've had subs to Maxim in the past. Despite it sounding like a joke, I like the articles.

It's the male equivalent to Cosmo et al. How to have better sex, better abs, etc. All pretty standard stuff except, well, I'm not a guy so it's relatively new to me. I like the writing. Straight, direct, funny. Plus, the pretty pictures don't hurt.

My wife's fave mens' magazine was Stuff. She was bummed when it went under and was pulled into Maxim. I think the difference was that Stuff was aimed at horny geek guys, while Maxim was more for the horny frat types.
