Thanx for clarifying. I've been joining more affiliate programs recently, and plan to include aff links in my info products as well as in blogs. When this is done with integrity, it's a good way to add income streams. I simply need to add affiliate mktg. to the mix to make my business sustainable. I really think Twitter needs to be approached differently, though: use Twitter to build trust / brand identity, and use other vehicles to actually sell stuff.
