It has been suggested that Sleipnir having eight legs is symbolic of the four men who carry a coffin, i.e. a steed to carry the rider into the underworld. It might also be a reference to a real horse with three toes, a genetic manifestation that occasionally happens on the front or rear legs of a horse, usually without harm to the animal. Though rare, it has been seen, and this might have worked its way into the myth. - from Knowledgerush.com

I am using 64 bit on this machine and 32 bit on my old P4 machine and laptop, the only problem i have had with the 64 bit is that my printer drivers wont work with it, so i switched the printer to an older printer and it works fine

I think you have to think about this or pretty soon there will be too much noise to think about anything.
- Justin Long
Justin: exactly. Now that we're moving to a streaming world where you can collect thousands of people who write about all sorts of things you need to build new organizing skills. I'm just trying to figure it all out. So are a ton of startups.
- Robert Scoble
There should be more powerful ways to filter information with FriendFeed than just lists of different users and groups. Are there some sort of things for data visualization based of FF data sources? It could be interesting.
- Daniel Schildt
Daniel: I see a ton of ways that FriendFeed could be improved. First, there's gotta be a way for me to tag people to tell other people what they usually write about. But there needs to be a whole raft of improvements to FF. For instance, why can't I say "show me all posts that have the word "Obama" in them but only display those with two or more 'Likes'"?
- Robert Scoble
I think FF is very much in its early days. Organizing a list is an intuitive first step, just like folders in Reader. I would think tagging posts would be the next most intuitive step, because that leads to a general taxonomy for a Poster (e.g. Scoble posts tech 90% of the time, but politics 10% of the time...grin). I wish they'd move faster but so far nothing else beats it.
- Justin Long
@Robert: I read a nice blog post on information overload this morning, you might find it useful. "whenever it feels like you're drowning in information, stop and take a look to see if you can identify which of your information filters just broke" http://aboveandbeyondkm.blogspot.com/2008...
- Daniel J. Pritchett
Or maybe there could be some sort of cloud based of the words used in messages? Even that could help to give some sort of idea what are being talked. Yes, there are better ways but that would be one thing to do. While it might require "some" processing power, it certainly could provide nice overview of what is happening in FriendFeed related to some topics and how often things are mentioned. There are hashtags in Twitter world but some better way to do things would be nice.
- Daniel Schildt
