a lunch convo has me wondering, what's the impact of the beta blockers on my ability to work out to point where I'll start losing pounds? I feel like I'm working hard, but I just wonder if that's holding up progress. Anyone else here take beta blockers?
When I get stuck the problem is usually in the diet area. I believe that many foods not only have a lot of calories, they tend to effect appetite such that these foods make you eat more. For example, I saw one article that said that diet soft drinks don't have calories, yet these drinks made people eat more.

thx lloyd, tho it may have come across funny - the pineapple is separate from the tea. The mint/lemonbalm is from my yard - abundant and good stuff

Well, I WATCHED the tennis today, but didn't do a damn thing myself. I may have burned a calorie or two cheering!

Moving slowly, but, pressing forward! I'm doing awesome keeping track of food and keeping it to a minimum and also drinking water - but, since the kids got out of school the exercise has slowed way down. Need to get downstairs and DDR with them!!! Ya'll can click on the link and visit my SparkPage

I'm trying the same - bit by bit. Some of the stuff I'm reading is not for me, but the other stuff I'm trying to shift to, bit by bit.

Hit a plateau at 5-6lbs lost. Tried to read some more--alkaline chart, and Men's Health site (good tips for women too) has "success stories" of people who made major shifts in fitness. Added cardio ( swimming) to my light dumbell workout and reduced dairy (acidic). Now seem to be at another plateau at 9 lbs. lost. Back to reading/research to look for the next "small change".
