"WordCamp UK presentation at London Bloggers Today at 1006 (51 minutes ago) I gave a presentation on WordCamp UK last night at the June meeting of London Bloggers. The presentation [pdf] seemed to go down postively at the well attended meeting at The Coach and Horses in Soho. Afterwards Alexandra, Andy, Tim and myself made a detailed examination of the various beverages available from behind the bar from the vantage point of the Lego-like seating outside the pub."

"Chinese contemporary artist Huang Yan, who paints traditional landscapes onto the human body, Beijing based digital arts company 8gg and the French aerial abseiling company Les Passagers will produce Chinese landscape painting on an epic scale on a 16 metre square canvas at The O2. Depictions of towering mountains and rivers and multi-media wizardry will transport viewers from the T’ang Dynasty to 21st century Beijing in the blink of an eye. Nina Rajarani’s Srishti South Asian dance company will create a new three dimensional outdoor version of Bend it . . . at Canary Wharf. This testosterone fuelled depiction of the beautiful game uses football, dancers, musicians, aerialists, giant Subuteo figures, intricate footwork, slow motion aerial replays - and that heart stopping ultimate goal - in a fight for Premiership glory."
