Correcting Ed Dale - what a concept! Crowd sourced dictionary RT @Ed_Dale: @JamesBurgin that plug in will be on by blog VERY SOON!! :-) - http://twitter.com/JamesBu...
And try pasting in a long URL longer than 140 characters with a short message - it wont accept - anyway it is going to shorten the URL right? Wrote to their support and no response. Twitter is as arrogant as google is.
- TrafficBug
how did you make that??? I'd much rather a cartoon of me than me!!
- DaleK
Hey Dale, I made it in Macromedia Flash. The program is pretty simple to get started..but doing complex movements takes some time. There are also alot of people who are good animators but not very good cartoonists. So it is important that you can do some drawing and animating. It's a very fun and addicting program to play with. You can probably snag a copy off ebay and save some money. You can also hire people to make videos that you out line. Most 2minute videos will run about $150-250. :)

Great video, thanks for sharing! Although the voice is slightly scary :-)
- Jen
Hahaha, You like that? It is like a movie announcer who didn't quit make the cut! I thought it was a little scary too..that's why I loved it.
- Michael Roberts
I think it will give me nightmares - which is why I postpone going to bed.
- Jen
Woow! That scarey eh? Hmmm....I think I should look into doing some scarey movies! TRAFFIC-BUG! Works so well! It will SCARE YOU!?
- Michael Roberts
Gladwell is such a great speaker. That 4.5 minutes is better than the whole content of most speakers' 1-hour presentations. Especially interesting side-by-side with the Daily Routine thread currently nearby in this room. The Beatles at that point and Gates were following what they loved to do, doing it at the times that they could. That's what is interesting to me while I simultaneously Get Things Done to my best advantage.

Practice, practice and practice some more, just keep having a go and one day you will create something great. Go on create it but whatever that it is, make it a quality effort. Great video thanks for sharing - G

Yes, indeed. :) Circumstances can give us the opportunities we need, but it's up to us how we react to them or use them.
- Art Y.
Don't forget to apply critical thinking to Gladwell's statements. Popular does not always mean perfectly correct. I apply a grain of salt and use his (and others) ideas to build my own theories, rather than swallow his thoughts without blinking. :)
- Allison
I think you may be underestimating other people Allison.
- Isha (Marysia)
Sorry if it comes across that I am, but knowing how exciting it is to find someone who seems to have "the answers", I know it is human nature to believe that opinion to be the be-all and end-all and not think further. That's why we want to be "the authority" in our own markets. It doesn't make us immune to that same type of thinking :)

Michael Roberts: After 3 months of waiting it finally arrived! My first check from Amazon for $107.57! Since then I have seen my income from my affiliate sites skyrocket. Just wanted to say a bit of encouraging words for other 30DC members! (via FriendFeed) - http://friendfeed.com/e...
A couple weeks ago I asked if you could do something about the sound (and the nice lady Marysia suggested putting the computer up to my ear, the way she does it). You've definitely handled it (please keep it that way). I thank you immensely.
- Russ
I try to keep it as boosted as I can given the circumstances - You can be sure ill do the best i can given the equipment!
- Ed Dale
Thumbs up for max sound boost Ed. Just about everyone of your audio/videos are inaudible to me on my laptop speakers, which necessitates the use of my earphones with volumes cranked up to the max :-)
- Ritesh Lal
Lol I put a speaker up to my ear not the computer Russ :D But I like the idea of putting the computer up to my ear instead http://friendfeed.com/e...

Thanks for letting us in a little more on your 2009 float. Hope it goes well. I'm waiting with baited breath for your email about how to get a slice of 30DC pre-IPO goodness.
- Sam Zak
Awesome Plans Ed! Wish I could invest. With all that cash, you are going to need some serious manpower to put it to use. As an Immediate edge member, I'd be interested to be a part of team. ;]

Hi I am going to check this out definitely once I finish training my FeedScrub filter and Piping all my Feeds
- TrafficBug
Aline, Your welcome This really adds some useful features like a lot of ways to share and find content right from within Greader. @TrafficBug, Cool What is FeedScrub?
- Ron"micronet"Harwood
Great Video! One thing that I would really like to master is the "share with note" feature in google reader/feedly. How do internet marketers use this function?
- Tim Brennan
If you find an interesting Flickr photo in feedly, aren't these copyrighted? In other words wouldn't you have to pay the owner to publish it on your blog?
- Tim Brennan
I think they fall under creative commons. Surely you can find more about it on the site itself. In general I've seen many people just including the pictures with the appropriate credits. Contacting the author would be best, but given time and other constraints it is not always possible.
