We saw this exhibit today. Adrian said, "They should just name it 'White People are Bad'." I didn't see it, then again, I wouldn't care. He pointed out a story to prove his point. I didn't tell him that the person doing the discrimination was Asian. I don't know that this is a good exhibit. It's very American-centric, so immigrants seeing this probably wouldn't get it. There's a lot to see here. A lot of multimedia displays, so if you go, plan to sit down and learn. One thing I can hope is that if a person goes in there and sees these stories of discrimination that they take the time to think before they react, make assumptions. It was interesting overhearing conversations from other black, Latino and Asians there. People saying, "Oh yes, that's happened to me." Recounting stories and watching the people around them react to that. There was definitely some defensive stances being thrown around. - Anika
