Crazy thing I'm now trying courtesy of my Chinese homies: milk tea drink with black pearls. I'm pretty sure I don't want to know what the "pearls" are, but they're not bad.

I kinda like pearl tea, my college friends called it bubble tea. For about a month I really liked it but I got tired of it from having too much. I think the pearls are usually tapioca.

Ah, that's a relief. After I posted this I realized they must not be too gross if they're served in the US. I just found my "don't ask, just eat" policy served me VERY well when I was over there. What sounds tasty and what is tasty are not necessarily the same.
