"Grab the guitar and play along with top Christian bands! Shred those riffs or blast the bass…you add a unique sound to the solid Christian rock. But watch out: if you can't keep up, the artists will take a break and stop the music. Crank it up and try again - you'll soon be rockin' with the best while praising the Lord!" - David Young via Bookmarklet
what a rip off. rockband 2 and the new guitar hero will RULE. sorry those aren't "Christian" enough - orionstarr
LOL. This was posted as a joke, dude. :) - David Young
Why not just work to get a Christian rock compilation added to Rock Band or GH3? Can anyone say "exploitation?" I knew you could. - AlexScoble(Robert'sBro)
Why is everyone taking this seriously? It's clearly lamer than lame. - David Young
i feel bad for the kids who parents buy this for them - orionstarr

I don't know how I am today. :) I'm just here. Glad that I found my cheap JLo perfume this morning. Glad that I had some yummy jalapeno Pringles. Not glad that it is only 11:40 since I'm ready to go home now. Ah, I think I found the word for how I am today. Weary. - Yolanda
Ditto Sean's 'meh'. I've got a funny story that I shall blog about in bit and it's almost lunchtime, so that's good. - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)
It's a strange gray and foggy day in L.A. The air at work seems odd. But thank you for asking. :) - edythe
oh, and I've smelled J.Lo's fragrances and I know that I liked one of them... - edythe
I'm great! Excited about school starting. Loving my life. - Monique
Another day almost wasted thanks to FriendFeed. - (teh)Kenny
Although tired, in general, I'm good. Glad that Warmaiden's dog is mended and people are so generous. Happy to be able to work with students. Satisfied with life. How are you? - JMS
Polly, I can't remember which one this is but I like this flowery/clean smell. Not too strong which is good because I don't find too many scents that don't give me a whopping migraine. - Yolanda
I'm glad you are great, Monique! Best of luck with school. - Yolanda
Kenny, come on! A day here on FF is rarely wasted. :) I'm glad that for the most part everyone is doing well. I was going to post an individual reply for everyone but that would spam y'all's feeds wouldn't it? So... thank you everybody who replied. We are almost to Friday! - Yolanda
Really lovely person with fantastic music taste! - Emma
I've got so many great folks in my stream it's an embarrassment of riches. I'm going to highlight some of you as I go along. Thanks for such great material! - Chris Baskind
I love Anna :) We're gonna get married and have a bunch of Yoda babies :) - Mona N.
Anna's my girl. She's lucky I'm married, if not i'd have to hunt her down and make her mine. I'd have to take out Cee Bee and Mona first. I know this. - Carlos Ayala
I think it is an IE error in general because i have IE6. Also the reshare is not working. - Ruth Ferguson
There are a few IE errors I've noticed over the past few days. The most annoying one being the comment bug in FF Beta, but there's a workaround for that (press enter). - David Young
Thanks for reporting this. It looks to be working in IE for me now. - Benjamin Golub
@ Benjamin, all working fine for me too! - Iain Baker
@Benjamin. Yep all fixed. Thanks! :) - David Young
I think I'm going to agree with Cee Bee on this. The more I look at the graph the less accurate it looks. It also doesn't account for the different cultures mixing together. But nonetheless it has some great color samples for skintones in the article that is beneficial to artists. - Lindsey Smith
It's pretty. Oh look, a shiny thing... - David Young
CeeBee I guess it could be accurate depending on how you define "indigenous" - David Knight
i'm not a scientist, but the map posted in the comments section seems more credible to me; http://bit.ly/2wXxhB - Cee Bee

never noticed until now (since i'm 2 away from him) that my and arrington's profile pic look like mirror images. though, i'm much more handsome :p - Matt Musgrave
Tim, can i use those images you downloaded or the script you used to scrape those photos? i want to try to mosaic them into my profile pic for a hi-res photo. - Matt Musgrave
I may just end up creating a yahoo pipe to pull the images.. :) - Tim Hoeck
YAY! I'm on there! Now I love it. WANTZ - Lindsey Smith
Vincent, if it makes you feel any better: at least you didn't tuck the back of your skirt into your pantyhose and then walk outta the bathroom. I'm just sayin', a rip ain't all that bad... - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)
Pictures tomorrow when I'm out of 'em Mona ;-) @Tina: If I'm in a skirt, then the party already started. - Vincent Ferrari
The last place you need your pants to rip is in the area I call "The Easy Access Rip" area - Outsanity
I'm just glad I'm not taking the train home. - Vincent Ferrari
Many images I am not posting, out of respect for Jackson’s privacy. What I do post are places that were largely seen by the public (or at least by hordes of kids who count it a privilege to have been on “the Ranch.”) Whether or not you believe he’s innocent, one can still appreciate the beauty of Jackson’s vision in creating such a place. None of us should ever lose our sense of wonder and amazement at the world, and I think Jackson truly wanted children to have this, largely because he never had it as a child himself. - Thomas Hawk via Bookmarklet
Innocent or not, that lithograph at the end is still a little creepy. - David Young
The pictures are beautiful and Michael is definitely odd but not a pedophile. Thanks for sharing these images. - Karen Swim via Alert Thingy
I've seen the whole set before. As an urban exploration photographer, I really admire the photo set. It really tells the story of Jackson's decline in the past few years. - Chris Luckhardt
I think it's pretty amazing that someone was able to shoot Neverland. Anyone know the back story on how this shoot was arranged? - Thomas Hawk
Thomas: Don't quote me on this, but I understand that with the place being virtually abandoned, the person just drove up and went in, Urban Explorer style. It would be awesome to go there and get some of the night shots they captureed! - Chris Luckhardt
that is interesting. i was born in south america and grew up in this country (usa), but i've always been more comfortable spelling words on british terms. what does that even mean? - Cee Bee
Cee Bee- I know what you mean. I go back and forth between the US and Canada and get completely confused about spelling at this point. (And don't even get me started on the metric system...) - Abby Martin
It always seemed correct English. Though a couple of English teachers and I went around on that point. One, however, adored me for it ;) - Michael W. May (Joffi)
"Esthetics?" In what backwater part of the country is that acceptable? - Mark Trapp
I'm an American who moved to Canada. The placement of those flags is perfect, as we're smack dab in the middle of both countries. I gave up trying to make sense of the spelling rules long ago, and just use US spelling. - Cecily Walker
Even after 9 years in the US I still spell in British English, old habits die hard. Except for 'leukaemia', which somehow I manage in American :-) - Sally Church
I live in Canada and work for a big US company that has US spellings as part of its style guide. Before that I was surprised when I worked in the newspaper business and found that most Canadian newspapers use Canadian Press (CP) style which advocates US spellings for most words. The stated reason: in the days of metal plate presses, the shorter spellings saved materials. - David Muir
I live in Canada but spent a lot of my life growing up in the US. And I get muddled about the spelling differences. And David- I love the CP style guide though I do find some vital variants between AP & CP style. - Abby Martin
so can that justify the extreme shortening of words on the internets? Srsly? - Shawna Benson
Michael: I don't pretend to be a linguistic historian, but I thought it had a lot to do with Noah Webster attempting to modernize the language? - Mark Trapp
Americanized English spelling was shortened due to printing press costs and space. Internet speak was shortened due to subculture made popular and laziness ;) - Michael W. May (Joffi)
Mark: In part, yes. But most word changes point to the print costs as the base reason - Michael W. May (Joffi)
And the odds that I am wrong are 40/60. I am working on drunk here - Michael W. May (Joffi)
I'd love to know the answer to this - could it be a combo of the two? - Abby Martin
Oddly they've labeled it "British spelling" where as it's common English outside of the United States. Canada is a slight exception only due to the influence of the United States due to proximity. - Duncan Riley
Duncan - I think there is a small note on the site that Australia follows British spelling. Don't know why they didn't analyze differences/similarities there as well. Short shrift! - Abby Martin

Mine too. And it has Websense blocking anything interesting. That's why I have a Macbook and a 3G card at my side :) - Jonathon
I'm so tempted to get a Sprint mobile broadband card it ain't even funny. Think I can write it off as a business expense, even though I'd mostly be using it for my day job and my blog? =D - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)
I have to use IE 7 on work computers. I feel your pain. - David Young
I also have to use IE since we have an app that is only supported in IE. However, I use my own laptop for work so I have Opera and FireFox running at the same time at any given moment. - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)
not many worse feelings in the world...except maybe a swift kick in the groin. Good luck. - Josh Haley
I have a bad habit of picking up accents. My husband wants to forbid me from talking to anyone in New Jersey next week. - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)
I certain prefer our English accent to the American accent, though I think my favourite is the female Irish and some female Scottish - Kol Tregaskes
@Stupid Blogger I've got the same habit. Had to warn a previous co-worker (who was British) so he wouldn't stomp my face in. Thought I could control it when a few off-shore Indian people came. Well, I couldn't. - Arlan Koizumi
Another English guy here, although I'm from the Midlands and will probably be classed as or Brummie or a farmer ... and I'm neither! Female Scots are delicious to the aural canals ... - Timothy Griffin
Arlan, it's usually not an issue (kinda works for me when I travel), but when I worked in a call center I had to make an effort to not do it: could have lost my job to appearing to make fun of the customer. - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)
