I'm still hopeful that Google+ can eventually be a FriendFeed replacement. I see new posts appearing in real time there. Maybe comments will be real time before long too. It will be cool when we can have a real-time discussion about Google+ on Google+ itself. Keep plugging! Oh, and tell your engineers about progressive JPEGs. They're actually smaller than non-progressive JPEGs of the same quality, make for better UX, and are supported on all the browsers the Google+ UI works on. - Bruce Lewis
