@stefan, this has been going on for Louis' wife all day. When my daughter was born in 91, we were at hospital all day. Towards the end, our doctor was thinking c-section and his brother (also a doctor) was thinking forceps. In the end, they did neither. - Ontario Emperor from fftogo

Patrick was a C-section baby. Louis will be busy for a while. I don't agree with Cyndy. I watched the whole thing and found it fascinating. The smell isn't good, though. They use a cauterizing knife and the smell is something I will never forget. - Robert Scoble

Oh wow a cauterizing knife - burning flesh eek! but, that's a clean cut that reduces infection, so good practice. If I had to go thru that, I'd want Ken to hold my hand the entire time! - Susan Beebe
