i really think friendfeed is a great pre-launch platform for startups to fleshout and vet their products/features while growing awareness and community - jason did that w/ gusto and i think it'll help him be more fully engaged w/ his users and stay relevant - i expect to see more and more early stage startups doing the same here - ok, ff fanboying i know ;) - mike "glemak" dunn

mike - FF right now is the best forum for new startups to get noticed and more importantly to learn from other smart people that I've found.Will this change? Maybe depending on how noisy it gets. Jason@socialmedian does a bloody great job of engaging everyone. I would love FF integration for Regator and have already talked to them about it (we have Twitter/FB integration right now) . Our site is a little less geek-centric than most but I would still like it as I am a big fan :) FF is unhealthily addictive. - Scott Lockhart

Would be interesting to see how socialmedian and FriendFeed fit together. Both are into sharing and commenting news. FriendFeed in a more general way, socialmedian more focussed on articles. - Matthias Schwenk
