Boy do I disagree with Louis Gray on this. I would rather periodically catch an entry from one of the great feeds I'm subscribed to than to unsub and miss ALL of them. It's a river, Louis. I keep my email to under 10 and that's manageable. GReader seems to be a place I put stuff 'to read later' - 'when I have the time'. With FF in Reader there are hundreds of unread items and I don't necessarily want to read every single one. Nothing will happen to me if I miss some stuff. Louis - my philosophy on this is polar opposite. Google Reader is a mighty fountain, a gusher, from which I skim off the spray at the top. I am comfortable with thousands of unread items.
