Pandora, Last.FM, Slacker Radio - what's the point? No sports, no Stern, just music. A ton of apps do that already.

I just want the "Area" station. It's tempting to pay just for that, and then attach my iPhone to the car.

Hmm - Slacker has a Trance station (and a few others) - plus, you can customize it to your heart's content.. like tracks, ban tracks, adjust the year settings to play only a certain period, etc.

Some music needs more than just cd tracks. IMO they need a good dj. I still believe in the dj.

Louis, the "Area" station is not worth paying for. When it was just Sirius it was excellent, but post-merger it went completely vanilla and generic. I was highly disappointed.

di.fm and afterhour.djs thumps out all over Shoutcast. Cannot ever imagine paying for anything on Sirius ever again.
