Update on the Send Walt to ALA Fund: My official money collecting for this ended on Monday (though you can still contribute directly to Walt via http://citesandinsights.org, which has a handy PayPal widget), and I am at long last wrapping things up. The final total was $1210, from 36 contributors. Thanks to you all!

I've just written Walt about arranging the details for getting the money to him, so that should be in motion shortly. I have not taken off for Tangier or spent it all on the proverbial hookers and blow.
