This might be a fruitless late-Friday question, but if any of you have Gale's 19th Century British Library Newspapers, will you check its holdings of the Glasgow Herald to see if you're also missing 1828-1843? It claims to have full text Feb 04, 1820 - Dec 31, 1900, but something is amiss.
One of my historians is trying to get to a year that's missing, of course. Just us? Gale is missing content? - kaijsa
Checking. - Yo Joe. No, go slow.
Nada -- "Results for Advanced Search (jn (Glasgow Herald)) LIMITS: (da (01/01/1828 - 12/31/1843)) No Results matching your search term(s) were found." - Yo Joe. No, go slow.
Ditto--no results for that range. I also tried Gale's British Newspapers 1600-1900 (which I assume is actually the same content, just arranged in a different package) - Megan loves summer
Not a thing. Plenty in the entire database within that range, but zippo for the Glasgow Herald. - RepoRat
Thanks, all--this helps so much! I guess I'll help the prof order film reels through ILL. - kaijsa
Remember to beat on your Gale Sales Rep, too - if they don't know about the problem, they can't/won't take steps to fix it... - awd
I shall let our ERLs do the beating and if they don't get satisfaction, I will pick up a stick. - kaijsa
