Exhibit no. 27 in "Whenever I Have a Good Idea, Barbara Gets There First." Sometimes she's decades ahead of me, sometimes--as in this case--I have timestamped transcripts of chats from a week ago where Iris and I were relating Ranganathan's fifth law to the idea of a library as an ecosystem that must change over time as it interacts with other ecosystems.
