Next question: Does anyone really care which conferences I have attended?
- maʀtha
me personally I look to see if they've presented first and then look to see what conferences they've been to.
- Sir Shuping is just sir
only if you presented/moderated/keynoted. otherwise, nope.
- jambina
1. hokey 2. nope, but I would note specific committees/roles (if any) for professional associations

Also: are you writing a *CV* CV, or more like a CV-resume-hybrid-thing-that-when-you-call-it-a-CV-all-the-literal-minded-folks-roll-their-eyes-and-pull-out-their-dictionaries-even-though-CV-has-become-a-generic-term-for-this-kind-of-document? Because I can send you my "CV", but it's the latter kind.
- Meg V. Meg
mine is a CVCV that old white men like for tenure talk. can send if ya like.
- jambina
1) hokey; that belongs in the cover letter, tailored to the job 2) just attended? nah. but presentations, event organizing, committee work belongs.
