Wow...that is going to be quite a swap! How are they managing it? Who decides who gets to take what home? -
Where is this and can I come? :) It looks like the stuff that gets dropped off for a fabric/craft sale near here -
I don't know how they're going to handle it. The newsletter says: Craft Supply Swap / Saturday, November 17 9 am – 1 pm / Community Rooms / Select free, recycled items from donated supplies for your next craft project. If you want to donate craft supplies, drop them off at the Customer Service Desk of the Main Library on October 27, November 3 or November 10. -
I got some info. They're going to be sorted into categories (e.g, Knitting), and people can help themselves. No limit. She's been collecting paper bags for months for the swap (I gave her most of my grocery sack stash), for the bulkier stuff. -
wow! What a neat thing. -
I wanna come! -
I want to come and....dump a bunch of stuff from my clutter closet! :) A friend of mine lives in a community that has one of these as a permanent installation:
Scrap Exchange sounds like Scrap Box in Ann Arbor.
My sister saves apple sauce containers for them. I took my nephews there once to buy supplies for making robots and whatever. -
