Galadriel, I don't know what EBL does, but the Academic Complete subscription from ebrary has durable URLS for books or chapters that can be added to ereserves, and unlimited simultaneous user access. They also have an internal "bookshelf" where you can create shareable folders and annotate text of the shared items in those folders for all to see. So that's kind of an eRes thing, too.

Thanks Iris! I'll have to look into the Academic Complete subscription further. We have ebrary and EBL for PDA profiles right now and I really wish I could merge the pluses of both into one fully functioning e-book platform. Ebrary is far easier to on the MARC record retrieval and quality metadata side while EBL's interface and availability of an e-reserve module are working well at the moment though there some problems w/ it last week. Right now, the durable URL works well in ebrary for multiple user titles, but not for the single user ones whereas EBL's reserve module lets you put books or chapters on reserve and if you do not on the book you have the option of renting just a chapter or a whole book just for the semester or other time period that the reserve is needed.
