You could just passive-aggressively email a link to this thread to the student. Using non-default fonts in email is generally frowned upon in my circles.

But does anyone tell people that? I'm not sure where I finally stumbled across the thou shalt not use Comic Sans but it seems to be one of those weird insider only things....

Wow. Do you know that there's actually a whole movement to ban Comic Sans? I didn't. Yay Wikipedia! Also, I have just blogged about this. :) That's maybe 5 more people who shall now know the Truth.
