jambina to jambina's feed, LSW
i have aliens in my mac wired keyboard. everynow and then buttons are "pressed" though i haven't touched them. keyboard is clean. it's not always the same button, and happens at anytime during the day. anyone else ever had this? i sent too emails of gobbledygook today because apparently the aliens can also hit "return".

nope, this one is wired (te bluetooth one works perfectly). and i turned all sharing and bluetooth off and it still happened...

You should spray just to be sure. Children can hide in pretty small places. Do the wire connections look ok? How about giving it a blast of compressed air? The fact that that the problem follows the keyboard means that it's an electrical or mechanical issue in the keyboard. Which is good, because keyboards are cheaper than Macs.

i spray for children monthly. everything looks fine - and it really started all of a sudden. thought it was the "extension" usb cord i needed at work - but same at home. guess i need a new keyboard (and agree - much cheaper fo sho)
