While I adore that picture with an limitless passion, I agree with Steve. Also, not so fond of the orange and black, which makes me think of a) Halloween and b) my high school team colors. Maybe rotating pics, as Wicked suggests? - marthalib

I have some ideas to deal with the orange on the picture. I find black to be a hard colour to look at in the long run. I can't think of any "black" sites that I continue to go back to on a regular basis. There's something cavernous about them. - ɥsıuɐʎɹ

No picture rotation please! Whatever this website is, it should be immediately recognizable for what it is. Picture rotation detracts from that. That said, there's a big of cart-before-the-horse here. The design should align with a theme/idea/message, not the other way around. - ɥsıuɐʎɹ
