"Hey, remember when the PS4 rumors stated that it only had 4GB of RAM? This is why I'm stating that, they are still for the most part rumors until Microsoft announces something themselves."

""Of course the PlayStation 4 and gaming PCs will also have their shot at this title in 2014" The game isn't coming to PC. "Bungie has given another look at what the Xbox 720 will be delivering in the way of graphics." Although all of the evidence and rumors point to the "720" being close to the PS4 in specs, it's graphics capabilities are still unconfirmed (it could look worse on the "720" for all we know)."

"All I want to see is Google TV updated to 4.2 or higher, with native application functionality, open sourced, and with USB webcam/microphone support. It already has gamepad support and I'm sure Google Play Games will come over to it. I also hope that this will apply to web/Chrome games too but judging by the rumors I'm sure it will. http://venturebeat.com/2012..."

""it brings the question as to how it was removed. After all, external app updates should have been stopped." Facebook has the ability to remotely enable and disable features from their app, so the update is still there they just disabled it, which adheres to Googles rules."

"I don't think it would be. SMB1 is one of the top selling games of all time, that means that Nintendo sold a lot of consoles in part because of that game. Bringing it to iPhone just gives people one less reason to buy a Nintendo console."

"It's sad, almost none of these companies or pundits want open standards to win. I don't see the point of the web if we're just going to hand content access and curation over to the big guys. Makes it no more different than TV, magazines and radio."

"I think the #1 argument in favor of RSS. The only replacements out there are owned by silos. Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, etc... If any of them shut down, unlike with RSS and OPML, we lose everything. RSS is that team that always comes back."

"No. But I am thinking that maybe their home consoles and handheld consoles should play the same games in the future (sans motion control games as that's more suited for home consoles)."

""most of Facebook's decisions are not just people, but making people profitable, and the more obvious that idea becomes, the more repulsive it seems" Isn't that somewhat the goal of every business? Not necessarily in making people profitable but using people to profit. Since the concept of trade was invented this has always been the case. Also Google already similarly gathers information this way with Android, I don't think there is much reason for alarm here."

"You do know that Android Inc was bought by Google in 2005 and has existed since 2003 right? They had an SDK out for Android since 2007, a full year before the release of the G1 in 2008. Also, Apple recently had several of their patents rejected due to prior art, the abstract nature of them or that they're just not difficult to replicate. And the judge of the Apple vs. Samsung just recently ordered for a new trial to determine the damages that Samsung owes Apple because of "impermissible legal theory" and has already cut the amount Samsung owes by $450 million."

"Android was revealed before the iPhone was, the stolen OS argument holds no ground. Stolen UI is the most anyone can say and even there all they took was multitouch screen interaction ideas (swipe, pinch, etc...). No different than Apple stealing from Xerox."

"Clearly to keep parity with Ubuntu Phone/Touch/TV. All I can say is I hope before they reach that point, that they release a way for current versions of Ubuntu to run these apps."

"It would help, but it would also deter them as their competitors have an advantage in mindshare. In the short term these OSes will be game changing (I definitely see a future where everyone is using the web primarily), but in the long term I don't think they'll unseat their competitors."
