I posted the recipe "LuCynda's 5 Star White Bread (Stand Mixer)" on BigOven.com. Technically you can substitute the brown for all white sugar. It wasn''t in my original recipe. However - it''s my secret ingredient so I really don''t want people to switch to all white. I came across it by accident while playing around with the recipe one day when I added "Sunny Boy" cereal. I wanted to make the recipe a little more rich and added some (more than 1 tbsp) of brown sugar. I noticed the dough was MUCH more easy to work with - stretchier - and it browned so nicely and the bread was so much lighter. I played with it many more times, experimenting with amounts because I found too much to be too sweet and a little bitter almost. I wanted my white bread recipe to taste exactly the same but still get the stretchy texture and the nice browning and the light and fluffy. I found it at simply one tbsp. So I really hope people will follow the recipe even though it is easier to only get one bag of sugar out of the pantry.

I posted the recipe "Easy Chicken of the Islands" on BigOven.com. This is a no fail recipe. You can skip the marinading time if needed. You can throw it in a crock pot. If you like garlic - add more - if you don''t - add less. It tastes best with fresh garlic and fresh pepper. You can also substitue the Worcestershire sauce for all soya sauce. This is a family favorite - all of my six children love it and I have several very picky eaters.

I posted the recipe "Divinity" on BigOven.com. Tips: A couple of things I have learned - you MUST pour the liquid VERY slowly into the egg whites while mixing - in a thin stream - to prevent the candy mixture from cooking the eggs - otherwise you will end up with divinity with strange little clumps and grains in it. As well, if you want softer divinity - cook the candy mixture for a lesser amount of time - hard ball for example - cooking to soft crack will produce a dryer, firmer candy. What you get in the end isn''t really based on how long you beat the candy - it''s how long you cook the syrup. If you don''t cook the syrup long enough, you can beat it for hours and it won''t turn. I''ve only used a candy thermometer a few times and it is those times my candy has not turned out. I rely strictly on the cold water test. Before I start the cooking process, I put a glass of water in the freezer so it will be nice and cold. Divinity MUST be cooked at LEAST to hard ball stage - but cooking to hard cra

I posted the recipe "Rice 'n Raisins" on BigOven.com. If using NON-instant rice - use 3 cups of rice and 6 cups of water. Cook for about 22 minutes.

I posted the recipe "Seven Layer Salad" on BigOven.com. Again, apologizes for the lack of exact measurements. I have a large family so for my salad I use about 8 - 10 eggs.

I posted the recipe "LuCynda's GooeyGoolicious Double Double Chocolate Chip Cookies" on BigOven.com. Sorry if the recipe isn''t perfect - I tend to cook off the top of my head and alter recipes so it is sometimes hard to record a recipe exactly.
