So I started the Physical Therapy and I kinda like it. (The yoga pants were a good idea.) Found out I have back muscles I'm not using!
I pretend I'm seeing my Personal Trainer. The clinic is inside a fancy Athletic Club. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
So far I've just done about 45 min of gentle exercises and then 15 min of the best heat and stimulation ever. The best part: it's covered by Medicare. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
Got the results of my DEXA scan today. My bone density has improved - a lot- since my last scan 5 years ago. Calcium supplements really do work.
Great news! - Jennifer Dittrich
Yay! - Anne Bouey

RT @HighlandtownArt: Did you know...that beside the fact that Hairspray was filmed in Highlandtown in 1987 that there are still people...
When you see Hairspray you are seeing my actual neighborhood. And pretty-much my high school years. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
Did you watch The Corny Collins Show? - Anika
It was Buddy Dean, actually. I saw Sonny & Cher on there when they were called Caesar and Cleo. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed

I'm retired now. I should probably learn to knit. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
You Tube has some really great knitting how-to videos. I am the person that absolutely cannot read out the directions but once I see something I can follow. I think this is some type of spatial learning disability per my teacher friend. - Janet
RT @JeffAbellFOX45: The water has been rising on Thames Street in Fells Point. Some motorists are taking no chances...
RT @ABC2NEWS: Stay away from ABC2 on York road in Towson. Person just rammed station with dump truck. It's a crime scene. Male suspect, potentially armed.
Why did it take me so long to realize I could roll up a flour tortilla to wrap a hot dog?
You must have missed Adrian's fave, the Oki Dog: hot dog, pastrami, chili, cheese all wrapped in a tortilla. Also: - Anika
*blinkblink* You're a *genius* holy crap. - Soup in a TARDIS
Seriously. I keep small tortillas around for mini pizzas and quesadillas but when I wanted a hot dog I was stuck with folded over bread? I covered it with mustard and rolled the dog up in it like a wrap. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
And it tasted as good? - Soup in a TARDIS
Works better than a falling-apart hot dog roll. I wrapped it and then warmed in the micro for a few seconds. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
Tuna fish is also good. - NOT THE CRICKET
I've had "wraps" before but just never a whole hot dog. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
I'm a hand-eater pretty much all the time. I like cheese with the tortilla + hot dog combo. - NOT THE CRICKET
I'm going to try this next time. Surely that's healthier than a bun or piece of bread? - Soup in a TARDIS
They do that in Norway with lompe. I prefer a bun. - Jenny H. from Android
RT @SoVeryBritish: The sheer horror of being told you’re on speakerphone
RT @MJMcKean: Damn superstitious theater company won't do my new play, OUR AMERICAN COUSIN, MACBETH.
My Doc has referred me for physical therapy - 6 sessions. Very tight lower back and hips. My Kid says the PT place at the fancy gym will be less rushed than the hospital and will take my insurance. Gotta call them. What do I wear?? Should I buy some yoga pants or something?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You don't necessarily need yoga pants, but you want something that will move easily with you. I wore a t-shirt and a pair of sweat capris to all of my PT appointments and it worked out well. Yoga pants may be more pilates-ball-friendly, if you end up being put through those exercises. - Hookuh Tinypants
Yeah, I don't know what I'll be doing yet. And I don't actually own any type of stretchy pants. I figure I'll need something flexible. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
Yep, as Hookuh says, something comfortable and loose enough to be flexible. You might also be able to ask when you call - mine gave me a brief rundown when I made my first appointment. - Jennifer Dittrich's finally caught up with me. I never needed exercise gear because... exercise. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
i wear yoga pants. I see folks stretching in just about everything, even jeans (altho I asked the gal wearing jeans and she says she unbuttons them). Hips and lower back, you'll be on the floor pulling your knees to your chest a lot of different ways, so stretchy is important. - RudĩϐЯaЯïan
I wore a huge t-shirt and leggings. I also had my PT in the early 90's. What everyone said, loose and comfortable. - Janet
RT @BaltimoreMD: Flowers & fun on a lovely Baltimore day? Must be FlowerMart! Join us for a lemonstick (or 9?)
If you have never tried a lemonstick I recommend it. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
