"btw -- I use cli script that uses "expect" to automate the login. It also auto sets the proxy settings systemwide. Let me know if you're interested." - Rich Manalang

"the gui for cisco VPN is gvpndialer. Google it. The bad part us you have to compile from source and from what I remember I had to symlink some libs in order to get it compiled. Vpvc doesn't work with oracle's VPN concentrators... I spent many hours trying to get vpnc working." - Rich Manalang

"Scorn PL/SQL? I don't scorn PL/SQL... Jake put words in my mouth. I've never even touched PL/SQL. Anyway, I do dislike the thought of a proprietary language. For the same reason, I never really liked PeopleCode. I want to learn things that I can take to any job. I suppose PL/SQL is pretty pervasive. Also, I prefer OO languages that help me get things done very rapidly." - Rich Manalang

"We do sort by "last voted on", sort off. In the OOW group, the default sort order is "Recently Active." That surfaces an entry if anything was done to it (i.e., edited, voted on, or commented on). But, you're right, we need to align all of these views to be more consistent. Rich" - Rich Manalang

John Resig is a fucking rock star. At CommunityOne this week, I spent sometime with David Koontz talking about the work he's doing with Processing. Can't wait to play with this! - Rich Manalang
