Cult of Mac » Blog Archive » Hot Tip: iPhone 2 Features Detailed — 3G, GPS, 2xRAM, Thinner, Better Battery and Only $200 - http://cultofmac.com/hot-tip...
"I just got a hot tip from a programmer at a major software publisher who claims to have seen the specs for the iPhone 2. This is unconfirmed, but according to the tipster, the iPhone 2 will be announced by Steve Jobs at Apple’s WWDC on June 9, and will much offer more for much less — and be thinner to boot. The iPhone 2 will have: * 3G * GPS * 2 x memory (16GB and 32GB) * 22 percent thinner * Better battery life"

Hmm, engadget said it's going to be thicker?

No, it won't activate with T-Mobile yet, people. It's an AT&T exclusive in the US. You can hack the iPhone all you want if you don't want to buy apps from iTunes.

What, and the two switches (ringer toggle, volume rocker) just happened to both get thinner too? But width unchanged? So fake. So very fake. "A-And it will have 256 GB memory, 4G + WiMax + Iridium satellite, and a coupon good for a free backrub from Maria Grazia Cucinotta! A-and it will be SUBSIDIZED so AT&T will pay YOU to take it off their hands!!!"

What I get for not RTFA. Author says picture *is* photoshopped. (Didn't make sense that AT&T would call it "iPhone Black" if back is still silver.) More memory is a given. 3G + thinner doesn't make sense to me, unless you either have a) less battery life or b) one of the new plutonium hydride batteries.

Still limited to AT&T? Hell no. AT&T coverage is pathetic in my area. I'll stick with Verizon. Too bad Apple.

Know what I'd like to see from FriendFeed? A short little bio on a person's profile (yes, like Twitter). Would be nice to get a quick idea of who someone is, where they work, etc. without having to extract that info from the aggregated feeds.
haha that was what I was thinking. and so true.

hehe :-) I wonder why they called it rooms. First guess would be it having something to do with the phrase "get a room", as per the blog post. Quite a creative brainstorm, not so original final deliverable :-)

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is having a 90's AOL flashback
