Yep, very impressive. I wonder if they're profitable or not. (Just hope they stay in business.)

I've gotta turn this Clipstart "bug fix update" around. Dozens of under-the-hood changes, but all at 90% completion, so I can't ship. Argh.

Exactly, same here. I went to google.com today only because I was checking whether the internet was down. :-)

Still impressed that Backblaze works so well. I have 400 GB on their servers for essentially the price of a small hard drive once a year.

It's actually a (good) policy change. Flickr now only requires commercial API keys for big guys. No delay for us smalls.

Thanks for the pointers to Google's home page fade-in change, which went live last week. Here's their blog post:

I think I like it. It's a nice reminder that Google hasn't veered too far from their design minimalism roots.

Hit cmd-s more often? Or the casualties of working from a coffee shop without Time Machine constantly running?

Google is doing something new (to me?) on their home page: all the navigation is hidden until you move the mouse.

My 3GS compass doesn't work consistently either. Can't trust it.

I was forced against my will to take a break to play New Super Mario Bros Wii while the electrician checked some outlets in my office.

I have a license to HTTPScoop. Comes in handy and usually faster than dealing with tcpflow on the command line.

Finally got the new Roku channels. Pandora is very nice, but not sure I'll use the other photo and video channels much.

Busy day, but I must have had a good time because I not only forgot to tweet, I forgot Twitter existed. Maybe there's hope for me.

More upset than I should be about losing my jacket at the bowling place. Going to take it out on bowser and finish Mario tonight.

Yes, it is really that rare. Every few years we get something significant. Today's was just a teaser.

Heh, it does sound silly, but it's a very big deal here. Last year we went to New Mexico for New Years partly to get a real winter.

Beautiful snow falling right now. I wish the kids were home. Traci's going to the school to see if they're outside. (Yes, this is serious.)

Heard about snow flurries in south Austin, but nothing up here yet. Working from the new Panera off Lakeline. Pretty nice.
