@christinelu Short answer: Difficult for additional players: can't get funding anymore to grow big, plus don't have huge content library
@christinelu It's different from a TV station that's just one or a few channels, video sites need to have all the (good) content.

@pagesofinterest Yes, I use Skritter Lite inside ChinesePod, it works excellent.
Both kids are taking their afternoon naps. Peace has returned to the house.
Now sitting in the garden with book, iPhone, iPod, big mug of tea and a stack of Chinese flash cards. 28 degrees, sitting in the shade.
The weather in Shanghai is fantastic again today. A blue sky and 27 degrees. Going to sit in the garden with a newspaper and a book.
Yoga class was nice, feeling both tired and relaxed now. Time for some juice to rehydrate.
Having large cup of tea and some yoghurt before going to my yoga class. Scott sits on my lap, as usual during breakfast.

@mohak Updated some paid apps on iTunes but the apps still do not open. I think it doesn't have to do with ownership, just a bug in 3.1.2
Quick search on Apple forums turns out I'm not the only one with problems after 3.1.2 upgrade. Many people cannot use apps anymore. Great...
Just to clarify, all my apps, included all the games that I bought. What's wrong with Apple? Can they get away with everything these days?
Upgraded my iPod Touch to the latest version (3.1.2) and suddenly none of my apps works anymore. WTF?
@pagesofinterest Yes, generally Shanghai's air is not that bad actually (well, at least compared to some other cities in China :-))
I used to have an office in old villa opposite Four Seasons Hotel. Whole neighborhood is gone, but villa still there. Looks much bigger now.
Made a walk through some of Shanghai's few remaining old neighbourhoods. The city changes too fast.
@dawei_nl don't think that's related, it's a minor event that government might not even know about
@pagesofinterest Yes, SH is Shanghai, needed more than 140 characters for that
@jajem clearer :)
At the playground with Scott. Watching him play is a lot of fun.
On the one hand I miss living in Beijing, but if I see the constant stream of hazardous air pollution levels over past days I'm happy in SH
All proxy servers are very slow this morning, tried 3 so far. Too slow to use Twitter or Facebook. Not sure why, normally weekends are fine
Having the whole day to myself (well, with the kids). My wife went on a one-day outing with some of her staff at Tudou.
Making a cup of coffee together with Scott, going to drink it with Dutch spekulatius cookies! Scott also loves to eat those.
Excellent dinner with my wife at M on the Bund, still one of the best restaurants in China. Table with view over Pudong skyline!
Managed to baptize my almost new MacBook Pro with a Tsingtao beer. No structural damage as far as I can see.
