Had a volume problem with 30DC+, so I did this. But basically you can do this for anything you listen to on iTunes to increase the max volume. 1) In iTunes go to View>Show Equalizer. Increase Pre-Amp all the way up to increase volume. 2) Right click on the video or song file you're having sound problems with in iTunes. Get Info>Options>Volume Adjus

Any advise as to how to stop theft of Gmail addy being used to promote smut? Have reported full headers to spam@uce.gov but expect no assistance. Just discovered them in my spam folder. Anyone else check their spam for messages from "me" ?

I've been getting spam from me@gmail for about a month now; must be a new loophole or something. What I'd love is a way to report it to Google so they can stop it going through in my name -- it *is* their ISP, after all. Naive of me, huh? 8-) - LJF Wolffe

Well, the full mailing address of these stinking companies is included in the header, so I thought surely there is some way to stop it! What are we supposed to do, constantly close email addresses and start over? I went to google help, through gmail, but seems it's no biggy to them - Bluejeanslady from twhirl

You'd think they'd care about the spammers taking valuable server time and space . . . but since it's free, the effort to clean it up would likely be more expensive than letting it go. I just treat them like anything else in my Spam folder: delete, delete, delete. 8-P - LJF Wolffe

while in your Gmail account Scroll to the bottom and look for the link "Last account activity: 5 minutes ago at this IP.... Click on details. All the activity should be YOUR IP address. If so that it is unlikely someone is sending out from your account. If there are address that are not yours , Then you need to immediately Change your password and any "hint questions etc. and dig into the problem deeper - Ron"micronet"Harwood

The couple I looked at had the "do not respond to this address" at the beginning of the email. I've had that happen to me in the past, tho, for a domain I'd bought -- the spam folder filled with autoresponder messages for mail I didn't send (in China, no less!). Now I know what to do with those, too, should I see them again. I've been apathetic; that'll change, that's for sure! - LJF Wolffe

I set it up with a funky template, put in keywords & phrases, (btw at the competitive niche level) set everything to autopost, did absolutely nada to it, looked ugly with no alibi WELL warts and all got to PAGE 1 ON GOOGLE ( 415,000 comp) Did I make a $1 yep and then some, Being Ugly does not deture advertisers, got a couple of contacts that want to pay to play in the site, Oh and on top of that, they want to contribute content too! SO sometimes UGly Buggie Blogs Pay OFF ! Now its off to the Blogmetics Surgeon for a Blog lift. RESEARCH, TESTED IT, WORKED, NOW WILL INVEST TIME ON NICHE. - JuneM
