Is it all soup? Pho is generally a beef broth soup with noodles. The wikipedia article is instructive. They likely serve other dishes as well...

Shhhh. You're ruining my nostalgia! :-)

Carol: If you haven't read the Hacker Crackdown, it's a must read. Non-fiction. It involves the Secret Service, hacking, and role-playing games. It's a classic. I have a copy here. Just remind me.

Pingle does not seem to be sending my messages to FF today and that makes me sad.

I used to do this but felt uncomfortable posting to places that I didn't visit regularly. So I started posting to identi.ca exclusively, and only send feeds to Twitter and FF where I am active.
- Kevin Gamble
I have SMS and email alerts setup for this reason. Plus, I visit FriendFeed, Twitter, and Facebook daily, so it's not so much of an issue for me. admittedly though, I rarely go on Plurk and Kwippy and a few other sites I Ping very much these days.

Most @replies are useless out of context, but I felt that many of mine helped to highlight valuable people and drag FF users into conversation. Also, I get a lot of Twitter replies from FF. When I was using Ping, those people's thoughts would never make it to Twitter.

Thank you, sir. I was wondering where the echoes were coming from my pings, and it was FriendFeed.

Stephen: De-duplication, partcularly when posting to sites that cross-post can be a headache to figure out. (I think I finally fixed my double-post problem to Flickr.)

Rahsheen: I will use Ping to @Reply depending on what I'm posting. I agree with you about losing the context. it's sort of like only listening to one half of a phone conversation.

@brotherpaul I don't think social media success is measured by our follower count but rather by the quality of our relationships.
