Another word and the forces will abolish all forms of Cilantro on this planet called Earth, message received from Planet Janet

Message to Planet Janet: you know you love it with cilantro, baby.
- Steven Perez
Now see this is the interesting thing: if anybody posts, then you have to. So if everybody keeps posting, you'll just have to keep up with us. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I CAN ATTEST THAT PEA IS, IN FACT, ALL SUGAR AND SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE. Argue that, and let's see how mean you really wanna be. In the meantime, my head hurts so discuss this amongst yourselves. You can summarize it for me later.

Debating tip: never try to get in the last word. Always give your opponent the opportunity to get in the last word. By some sort of mysterious karmic law, your persuasiveness will improve immeasurably. :)
- Sean McBride
Steven Perez isn't a Bunneh!!! As long as he doesn't respond.
- Jimminy
This is a point that can never be proved, nor disproved until all but one of us are dead.
- Slippy "Threadsbane" Lane
So... it's kind of like a "tontine" but with a pretty weak payoff?
- Mark Jepsen
Hmmm, actually, it only needs to continue until Steven Perez is dead (of very old age, i of course hope). Our victory is guaranteed. Of course, if friendfeed gets eaten by fb, it's just going to be a race to get the last comment in before the site goes down.
- Slippy "Threadsbane" Lane
It's okay, he's got a Catch-22 now. Steven Perez isn't a Bunneh, so long as he doesn't respond. And we all know he refutes his Bunneh status.
- Jimminy
It was real hawt in the town that night! IF I EDIT 18 hours later like now - is your last still last if comments are disabled? A hawt question.
- L Stephen Cleary
Steven is a Bunneh!!! He responded when I said he wasn't. Bunneh's can win if they want.
- Jimminy
Steven, I'm sure that not even you would resort to cheating to get the last word. I vote we just find the comment limit. It's gonna be a number ending in '0'
- Slippy "Threadsbane" Lane
You did see where I said that I like my food scared and running, yeah? Mmmmm, ferret-ka-bobs ...

I do indeed see where this is headed, and no sir, I don't like it. *calls upon the forces of Voltron

Sadly, the only Voltron to heed your call is the vehicle Voltron. And I disabled that yo-yo by pulling out the sparks plugs in the car feet.

I think friendfeed only put the extra "Add comment" link at the bottom of threads because of this specific thread. It took me a full 20 seconds to scroll from one end of it to the other.
- Slippy "Threadsbane" Lane
hmm... 800+ comments on this thread, and this is my first, and probably last comment on this thread. I wonder should I read all the comments, or just post?

After half a month there must have been moment you thought it would not be a real big deal if you eventually should NOT have the last word, I suppose?
- Ruud van Wijngaarden
Now that you've nearly reached 1100 comments, I realized that I hadn't officially "liked" this yet! Error rectified, though you're clearly a comment whore, you show great panache while doing so!
- Mark Jepsen
Ohhh, you mean that place, which is totally faked by a #viciousbunneh who was in cahoots with the government in taking all the alfalfa plants into an underground hidden bunker.
- Tsali, The Native of FF
I will allow you to have the last word. But to take that last word you are surrendering your honor to a den of sightless whores.
- ‘-.-’ Tutivillus Grift
Eventually, the whole thread will go backwards to the beginning.
- WorldofHiglet
That sounds like more fun than I imagine you wanted it to.
- Steven Perez

It was a test. Honor is pride. A den of sightless whores is merely an event that you will carry forever. You have attained the 7th level of enlightenment.
- ‘-.-’ Tutivillus Grift
Considering that this thread has only been around since August, and has been shut down for the last two months, that's not too bad.

2012 is just the begining of the 13th Baktun, the long cont calendar doesn't actually run out until sometimes after 4772, that is of course if you stick with only Baktuns and don't use the other 4 higher counts, I just think FF will end in 4217 on planet Tersanzar :)
- Tsali, The Native of FF
Ah, right thread. In that thread, it's asked what you think you smell like. In this thread, I told you what I think you smell like.

So basically you are the nerdiest mountain man in all of Australia? I can dig it.

I would just like to mention that I saw Rochelle's post at 5am this morning (10 hours ago). I have been bugging Rach to go to the shops all day JUST for this shot, which she took in the middle of a crowded supermarket... My wife FTW!

I was just at the store this afternoon. Should have bought myself some english muffins. I would wake up early if it meant eating those! :)
- Jon, the Beartato of FF
Trader Joe's carries crumpets (or at least they used to) so you can make a side-by-side comparison. To me it looks like what Australians call English muffins and what we call English muffins are the same.
- Spidra Webster
I've still never tried English Muffins. They sell them here in Canada but I never had them in England - they don't exist there!
- WorldofHiglet
Crumpet toast is awesome. That is all
- Glenn Slaven
though one thing I miss here is oven bottoms. Now, *they* were really good....

When I first came on to ff today, this is what I saw at the top of the feed. As I leave, it is at the top again. Thus, I both start and end the day smiling.

See-ming, if you have to ask, you're doing it wrong.
- Derrick
I agree with Joshua. Derrick, you are teasing us straight males. Why can't you be a woman, dammit? Nerdy, sensitive, smart, caring, loving, expressive, and nurturing... Not only do I think there's a guy out there looking for you right now, but my guess is that there's at least 10 guys out there right now as I type this, who are looking for someone exactly like you. There are more qualified buyers for a Toyota Corolla than an Aston-Martin Vanquish. That doesn't make the Aston have less value

Aw, thanks everyone. I'm in a much better mood than before, but I still think the gay men in LA are missing out on a good thing. *plays Hate on Me by Jill Scott*

I think the gay men of LA are missing out on a good thing, too. What's wrong with them?

Micah, I've only met you a couple of times in real life, but I am convinced that you are the man. I have no doubt that you will be successful in anything that you choose to do. Three qualities that I respect in you are, your blunt honesty, your quirky sense of humor, and your humility. The list of feeds that I read daily is very short and your feed is on that list. Thanks.

Writing down everything I eat, no more snacking on candy; instead I'm choosing nuts and fruit. Not going vegetarian, but instead of meat being the focal point of my meal, it will become an accent to veggies and whole grains. Spices, herbs, vinegars, etc. will up the flavor quotient. I haz werking on me.
The important thing is to have a plan, and follow it. Then you can measure if the plan is working, and make adjustments. I hope this dietary strategy accomplishes your goal and is tasty

Have you ever eaten quinoa, Derrick? Very versatile and easy to make grain and *chock* full of protein. I like it hot for breakfast with walnuts and dried cranberries.
- FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
Tina, I've made it once, and it sits in my pantry. I liked it, but haven't realized it's potential yet. I made a savory kind of "rice" dish. Kind of like a stir fry, if I remember right.
- Derrick
I use quinoa wherever I would use rice, oatmeal, or barley. It's kinda nutty so it works in both sweet and savory dishes (makes a tasty pilaf too).
- FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
Thanks, Tina. I'll have to find out a way to liven (and use) it up. :)
- Derrick
Btw, quinoa (good one, Tina!) is a complete protein (and a great source) - all essential amino acids. :)
- Micah Wittman
cool decision. nowadays it seems much easier and more fun and pleasant to eat healthy. so many appetizing sites on the web about awesome good food. - just all these desserts and cakes on friendfeed...
