"@DeathfireD Yeah, Jay Adelson said 2009 would be Digg's profit year. It's in everyone-who-loves-Digg's interest to see them succeed. That's one reason I don't understand people feeling proud after blocking Digg's revenue stream? I don't particularly like ads, but I also know business, so I'm glad to give Digg thousands of ad impressions every year as I continue to enjoy their FREE service. Honestly, has anyone on Digg watched TV before? I'd love to see how they react to commercials!"

"@DeathfireD I remember reading about it last year. My numbers are a little off, but BusinessWeek talked about it. I did some snooping and found the link: http://www.businessweek.com/magazin... ..."

"Digg doesn't make profit. Digg cost $11 million to run last year and made $6 million. They run off investments and have 71 employees to pay. Do you think Digg's investors are going to sit back and support it and not see a return. Digg either profits or sells. I never wanted to believe the Digg community was this dumb, but I've been proven wrong."
