This reminds me of that 'résumés in plain language' site that was around during the dotcom crash. It presented this kind of language in actual, real language (but in a snarky way, of course). It was hilarious. This probably would be translated into 'I can have conversations with people. Even people not on my own team!'

Then again, Dubai is really small and doesn't have the rabid, panic-mongering media to whip the population into a morbid fear of total economic collapse in the case of no bailout. I firmly believe the reasons behind the most recent recession are as much rooted in psychological snowballing as they are in economics and hard numbers.

I finished the first book in the Twilight series today. My impression of the book... 500 pages of this: Bella to Edward: "You are soooo beautiful" Edward to Bella: "But you should be afraid" Yeah that's it. Obviously not written for those with a Y chromosome.

Branched out now into some earlier jazz, too - added some Ellington, Fitzgerald, Armstrong, etc. to offset the film scores. That's my favorite thing about Slacker - lots of fine tuning on the station, so you only get stuff you want.
