IMDB says, "This short film was shown for a limited time only at the Ghibli Museum, it may be shown there again in future depending on scheduling. It is not available anywhere else." Surely there must be a way....

"Cellist Yo-Yo Ma, violinist Itzhak Perlman, pianist Gabriella Montero and clarinetist Anthony McGill made the decision a day before Tuesday's inauguration after a sound check to use a previously recorded audio tape for the broadcast of the ceremonies. Carole Florman, a spokeswoman for the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, said the weather was too cold for the instruments to stay in tune."

After I shared that, on the way home I happened to catch NPR's interview with Yo Yo Ma about the incident. Given how cold it was, it really seems like the performers had no choice but to pantomime along to a taped performance from earlier in the week. The way he puts it, the instruments would not really work in weather that cold. Interview here: http://www.npr.org/templat...

If you own an environmentally unsound, larger than life, 4x4, postmodern cowboy, truck or SUV, why do you drive it like a sportscar? If you wanted to drive fast and crazy, taking curves at top speed and zipping in and out of lanes and traffic, going faster than light, why buy a huge gas-guzzling, crap performance, unstabled big ol' truck? It is just stupid. And there are so many of your hummers out there.

DUI offenders online, what an awesome idea. If you do the crime, you're face will be on the internet. Of course, if this gets too popular, people will start doing crime to get on the internet. I do wish local news stations would start broadcast this info. This is news.
