"Here in the US, excitement has been high over Verizon's first Android handset, the Motorola Droid; so high, in fact, that it has actually begun to make an appreciable dent in iPhone favoritism. This is partially due to the fact that a large number of iPhone users were Verizon customers before they got the iPhone, and still consider Verizon's wireless network to be superior to AT&T's. Verizon's "There's a map for that" advertising campaign has also added to the company's reputation for having a more robust network than AT&T."

How about Canada? I cannot wait for more new Android devices. We're getting the Hero on the 5th of November, but other then the HTC G1 and HTC MyTouch, we have crap. Agh!

So what do you think? I bet we log in here one night and get taken right to facebook..

Zee, you are on the ball - thanks for the rapid blog posting.

I know more about the "Last Days" and heaven than I know about what's going to happen to FriendFeed as we have come to know it than was given in Paul's rather cryptic answer. And while that may not be a fair comparison (God actually gave details and signs), there is something definitely not forthcoming about his response. You usually withhold details that affect another party and to...

Re: "transforming" into something beautiful. Isn't that the same thing Buffalo Bill said in Silence of the Lambs?
- BLOGBloke
Nice post Zee... you've nicely captured my sentiments on FF
- Susan Beebe
Ken: good point, i almost stopped to mention it after my comment about metamorphosis since it doesn't really make a lot of sense if paul says ff is transforming (which he didn't he said it's in chrysalis - which means it will be transforming, but not yet)
- Chris Heath
Except he didn't say FF is in chrysalis either, Chris. He could be talking about Facebook.

But honestly, I haven't seen this much interpretation, re-interpretation, reading between the lines, hashing and rehashing and "what he probably/really meant was..." since the last time Alan Greenspan testified before congress.
- Ken Sheppardson
What's Greenspan's stand on FF. I must know. Now.
- Micah Wittman
Ken: maybe he's talking about facebook there, but i thought he was responding to the accusations that friendfeed is dead, not 'why hasn't facebook added any cool features recently?'

"On October 1st Google released Wave to some 100.000 selected beta testers. While I wasn’t lucky enough to get a first row seat, I had the luck to be nominated by Andrew Terry and Kol Tregaskes for an invite. 2-3 days later my nomination by these fine guys came through. Currently the best way to use Wave is using a regular browser on your computer. In some instances though you might want to use it on the go, say, on an iPhone or iPod touch. There are various claims out there that state it isn’t possible because Google said so on their site when you tried to go there with MobileSafari. It does work though, and it’s not a real secret. Have a look."
