It's very interesting to watch this unfold. Facebook is much more than the social utility they started out as; they're very much vying <a href="http://benwerd.com/2009...">to represent you on the web</a>. These ideas all very much move it in that direction. Thing is, any one company controlling identity is a massive problem. It actually undermines what the web is turning into.
