I am an online community building consultant. I also develop and manage my own online communities. Let's talk.
Twitter
@marcfreedman - Thanks for your kind words; let me know if I can offer any specific tips or advice.
Give yourself the best chance of community building success - http://www.communityspark.com/give-yo...
@InsomniacFrieze - We're always around! How are things with you? What timezone are you in?
@napwinc - Can you please DM me. Want to talk to you about the marketing company you've engaged.
As a community manager, you should be doing more offering than asking.
@mattrhodes - What can I do to make the community better and more relevant for you?

@FLYiR - I'll add it to the list. Already have about five books in the reader that I'm plowing through!
@FLYiR I have to admit, I still prefer magazines to the ebook format (colours, design, imagery) but for regular books, digital all the way!
RT @jasonyormark: 10 Words You Need to Stop Misspelling http://theoatmeal.com/comics... from @oatmeal So damn funny!
@FLYiR - I got a Sony Reader for Christmas and absolutely love it. I'm already reading far more as a result.
@sarahkayhoffman - You're welcome! Thanks for your kind words.
If ever there was an opportunity to engage your community members - the snow storms were it. I hope you took advantage.
@communitygirl - Congratulations on the Mashable coverage (10 Rules for Increasing Community Engagement) http://mashable.com/2009...

@JoshFeldberg - Their facebook page is a good place to start: http://www.facebook.com/Marmite and here's their latest website: http://www.marmarati.org/
Marmite use social media brilliantly, yet I rarely see 'industry professionals' mention them. Shame - it's good to watch what they're doing.
Online community metrics: numbers you need to pay attention to - http://www.communityspark.com/online-...
Why we manually approve all new members: out of 23,000 applications for our epals service 7,000 were spammers and scammers.
@lordorica - Did you ever get it to work. I just couldn't do it - therefore it's impossible for me to continue with Chrome.
@RamonBNuezJr - I can't see it happening until videos can be indexed as well as text
@lordorica - I couldn't get it to work with Java; did you come across the same problem?
@chris_bailey - In that case, yes - I'd agree with you. I just hate seeing 'thanks for the comment' 100 times from blog authors!
RT @RichMillington Great findings from social sciences applied to online communities: http://www.feverbee.com/2009...
@chris_bailey - Do all comments contain enough to warrant a response? I reply to comments that contain questions or good points but not all
@nellsberry - There might be a couple you like here: http://www.justchat.co.uk/ecards...
How on earth could Google launch Chrome for the Mac without Java support?
@ckieff - I'd assume very few are 'real' people.
@SEOQuakeTeam - Any idea why SEOQuake suddenly only shows this? (Latest versions of SEOQuake and FireFox) - http://tweetphoto.com/6081689
Can't get any Parachat applets working with Google Chrome for Mac. Have latest Java but not appearing in Chrome Plugins. Any ideas?
