Mother's vitals are stable. We're taking some time away from the hospital this morning. In spite of a good night's sleep, I sat down at my desk and realized how simply exhausted I am . . . how Bill and Tracy and Mark must also, certainly, be - utterly enervated.

Mary, *HUGS* I missed your updates but my heart goes out to you for the situation you're in. I hope that you get some respite from it soon in the most peaceful way possible for all involved.

I'm glad you are taking a little break away. You need some space and definitely need space. My hubby is a Palliative Care nurse and when people are stable they encourage family to get some rest and some head space. Try to sleep if you can and all the best.
