Squee, y'all. Crunching through dissertation data, and there is actual interesting stuff in here to back up anecdatal complaints about library leadership/management. This might actually prove *useful* in terms of defining the gap so we can solve it. Hunh.
Here's a better photo of the elephand bead. Sunday's photo had a little 'beauty blur' going on so I thought you might appreciate a cleaner shot. The blur definatly hid his flaws - like that #$%@ bit of blue glass under his eye. The ball came apart when I took him off the rod so he's a loss but still a good start on what could be a great bead. Happy one-week birthday to our beautiful baby girl, Marina. All that is love and joy, is her. In the months she was in my belly and in the week she's been in our lives, I've grown and learned how to open my heart more than ever before, have faith and be patient, and love unconditionally; all because of her. We made it to my parents' farm safely, but it wasn't as uneventful as most of my previous trips have been. Thank GOD for my 2 boys today who were the best traveling companions ever! I think I've stocked up on good karma for a while. =)
A fine gentlemen caller has arrived a few weeks early. Jeffrey Michael entered the global ring at 9lbs 2oz with giant feet like a lion cub or like a tiny clown. Everyone is well, he poops like a champion and I have been peed on as required.
I've been totally procrastinating buying plane tickets back east for this summer. Every year it gets more and more complicated for me to visit the family and friends I want to see. Of course, the longer I wait, the more expensive the tickets get, which paralyzes me and only makes things worse. I start cursing the fact that I did this to myself. =(
