Interesting read. But the ending. There was a self-redit the other day that stated "Have any of you ever clicked an ad on the web all the way through and bought something, vote up in no" which got like 3000 votes. The article ends talking about Adsense. Who clicks that stuff. I've never clicked an ad (hell, I don't even see them, they're blocked in my systems Hosts file) and certainly haven't gone through to buy something from one. I'm very surprised they can't put in an algorithm to weed out all the cut-n-paste jobs that are going on. Knol isn't evil in itself, it's just been so badly implemented. Until all the ratings are in for each Knol, it's useless to expect to find original content that isn't promoting something. - Barry de la Rosa
